TRUCK DRIVER & PRODUCTION EMPLOYEE OF THE YEAR CONTEST
Submissions must be received no later than May 1, 2019.
The Texas Aggregates and Concrete Association’s Truck Driver and Production Employee of the Year Award acknowledges the significant contribution of truck drivers and production employees to the growth and success of individual companies and the concrete, aggregates and cement industry. As a salute to these key members of the production and delivery team, the award is judged on the employee’s career achievement, safety record, professionalism, competence, and customer service skills in a manner that will enhance the public image of the industry.
Competition is restricted to:
– Nominees must be full-time truck drivers or employees. Nominees can only be nominated in ONE category.
– Nominees must be an employee of a TACA Member Company or a subcontractor of a TACA Member Company for at least six months to be eligible to participate.
– Each member company will be allowed a maximum of one truck driver nominee and one production employee nominee per plant location.
– Only TACA members with owner/operator drivers may enter those drivers in the competition. It is mandatory that the owner/operator company drives for a TACA member company and that same TACA member company has control over the operator’s safety program.
Truck Driver of the Year – one driver shall be selected by the judges from the qualified nominees
Production Employee of the Year – one production employee shall be selected by the judges from the qualified nominees
The 2019 Truck Driver of the Year and 2019 Production Employee of the Year will be honored on June 14, 2019 at the Gaylord Texan Resort and Convention Center in Grapevine, Texas.
NOMINATIONS & DEADLINE
Nominations can be made by completing the entry form and providing the required supporting documents. Nominations must include one high-resolution electronic image of the nominee dressed in his or her normal working attire. Entries must be received by May 1, 2019.
