TACA Members with less than five (5) years in the industry, Emerging Leaders Year 1, TACA Allied members, Texas State Concrete Industry Management (CIM) students, and students interested in a career in the concrete, cement, and aggregate industries.

Course Overview
This course takes place in the classroom and in the field. In the classroom, presentation topics include product application of cement, pozzolans, admixtures, fly ash, concrete, aggregates, and ready mix. There will also be a sales and marketing interactive discussion. In the field, attendees will cover industry products with tours of a cement plant, aggregate quarry, and ready-mix concrete plant. *Don't forget your PPE (required: mask, steel toe shoes, hard hat, safety glasses).

Who Should Attend
TACA members with more than five (5) years in the industry, those that have attended TACAMP 101 and Emerging Leaders Year 2. However, it is not mandatory to take the 101 course prior to taking the Digging Deeper course.

There are multiple facilitators for the Case Studies discussed in this course. They are experienced industry professionals from TACA's leadership of board and committee members.
Course Overview
This course is a “case-based” presentation/ discussion with participants. Prior to attending, participants will receive several real-world and industry-based cases on topics such as quality control, operations, general business, safety, human resources, etc. During the course, participants will be in groups to come up with a team-based solution to the issue presented in the case study. Each group will present their solution to the class for discussion.
