Beginners Course
Who should attend: TACA Members with less than five (5) years in the industry, year 1 Emerging Leaders, TACA Allied members, Texas State Concrete Industry Management (CIM) juniors and seniors.

Course Overview: This course takes place in the classroom and in the field. In the classroom, topics of discussion will be the product application of cement, pozzolans, admixtures, fly ash, concrete, aggregates, and ready mix.  There will also be a sales and marketing interactive discussion.  In the field, attendees will cover industry products with an cement plant, aggregate quarry, ready mix concrete plant and mixer drum manufacturing facility tour.
*Don't forget your PPE (required: closed-toe shoes, hard hat, safety glass).

A block of rooms has been reserved for January 13-16, 2020 at a rate of $139. The special room rate will be available until December 16, 2019.
