Cancellations received in writing to kristen@tx-taca.org by January 11, 2027, will receive a refund, less a $50 cancellation fee for members/ $100 cancellation fee for nonmembers. TACAMP 101 is designed for:
New Industry Professionals: Employees with fewer than five years in the industry
Emerging Leaders: Required for Emerging Leaders Year 1
Allied Members: Industry partners looking to learn, connect, and grow
Future Industry Professionals: Texas State Concrete Industry Management (CIM) students and students interested in careers in the concrete, cement, and aggregates industries

Course Overview
Get ready for a hands-on learning experience that brings the aggregates, concrete, and cement industry to life! This course combines classroom instruction with real-world field experiences to give attendees a well-rounded understanding of the products, processes, and people that drive our industry. Classroom sessions will explore the applications of cement, pozzolans, admixtures, fly ash, concrete, aggregates, and ready-mix, along with an engaging sales and marketing panel discussion. Take your learning into the field with exclusive tours of three essential industry facilities: a cement mill, an aggregate quarry, and a ready-mix concrete plant.

Safety First!
Don't forget your required personal protective equipment (PPE): safety vest, steel-toe shoes, hard hat, safety glasses, and earplugs. PPE is required for facility tours.

  • Industry professionals with more than five (5) years of experience
  • Previous TACAMP 101 participants
  • Emerging Leaders: Required for Emerging Leaders Year 2
Please Note: Completing TACAMP 101 is not a prerequisite for attending Digging Deeper.

Course Overview
Take your industry knowledge to the next level through interactive, case-based presentations and discussions centered on real-world industry challenges. Topics may include:
  • Quality control
  • Operations
  • General business
  • Safety
  • Human resources
  • And more!
This course is a “case-based” presentation/ discussion. Prior to attending, participants will receive several real-world and industry-based case studies. During the course, participants will be in groups to come up with a team-based solution to the issue presented in the case study. Each group will discuss their solution with the class. Bring your experience, exchange ideas with fellow professionals, and explore practical solutions you can apply at your company.

Case Study Facilitators are experienced industry professionals from TACA's leadership of boards and committees.
